Base AU: Terra awakens in Radiant Garden after Xemnas's defeat at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2. He is weakened from years of possession and remembers being Xemnas only in bits and pieces. Nursed back to health along with Dilan and Even, he works with the former apprentices to defeat Xehanort, be reunited with Aqua and Ventus, and rectify his past mistakes.
