Lost in the Darkness (locked to stormfell)

When they learned that Aqua had been lost to the darkness, Terra didn't even hesitate. Yen Sid was right. It was dangerous for him. Too much risk to lose himself again. To be swallowed up and lose himself entirely. But Aqua had been lost in that dark world for ten years. He couldn't just stand by and wait. Her light was strong, but one light couldn't hold out forever in the darkness... Besides, it was his fault she had ended up cast into darkness in the first place. It was his responsibility to get her out.

Terra kept his hood up in the dark world as a shield against the darkness, moving along the beaches of black sand, following the fell lights that gleamed from stone and branches, and the sound of dark water cresting on the shore. No sign of Aqua yet. How long had he been searching? Was she even here? Would he even recognize her...?

I'll find you, Aqua. I promise. My heart's not going to lead me astray again...
